Samara Blue - My Way Of Art
Kiefernstraße Düsseldorf
Urban Art, Street Art & Mural Art
They call it "Klein Paris"
Two streets in Düsseldorf are known far beyond the city's borders. On one side is the elegant Königsallee, on the other Kiefernstraße in the Flingern district – a creative counterpoint that has become well known for its artists, street art and large-scale mural paintings. Together with the residents, artists from Germany and abroad have transformed the street into one of the country's most remarkable open-air galleries. Behind each cover image lies a unique story. There you will find additional photographs as well as background information about the artists, their works and the individual buildings. Much of the information presented here is based on my own research, personal conversations with artists and residents, and historical sources. As this documentation continues to grow, the individual pages will be expanded step by step.
#Kiefern goes 40
Note:
The photographs in this gallery were taken before the 40th anniversary of Kiefernstraße in August 2021. Since then, several houses have been redesigned. These changes will be added gradually, allowing this documentation to reflect the current state of Kiefernstraße step by step.
