Street Art - Down Town Gallery Krefeld 2019

In the summer of 2019, Krefeld was a center for street art.
Under the premise of "A shelter for humanity", 21 well-known regional and international artists as part of the Krefeld change of perspective under the aegis ofFredda Woutersdesigned the bunker walls for a week with a great story about shelters for mankind. Different aspects and focal points lead the visitor counter-clockwise through the old bunker.

The ​opening was on July 27th, 2019 in the bunker under the Cinemax car park.

Change of perspective

Love and peace is the hope of the world

no The fact is

that neither of them lives here anymore

I do not think so:

that peace is possible

That life is better in love

That we must radically protect our earth

The truth is:

That our future on this planet can no longer be saved

I refuse to believe

That we are part of something that goes beyond ourselves

That we exist to change

It's quite clear:

That poverty is too overwhelming

That racism cannot be overcome

That our planet is stuck in an insoluble climate crisis

I can't possibly believe

That things will change for the better in the future

It will turn out:

That we can't help

And you are wrong if you believe:

that we can change it

I am convinced:

You can't change things

It would be a lie if I said:

There is hope!
