With this action, in which the last 5 houses were also designed by various well-known street artists, an entire street, 14 houses, had now become a total work of art. A reason for me to look at each of these houses individually and to give them space for their own story. Gerade in dieser unwirklichen Zeit ... 1/17 Ben Mathis was responsible for creating the grid and the MaJo Brothers for much of the figurative elements. Gears of different shapes and sizes are alternately distributed with robotic figures in the individual fields. Robotic arms seem to appear from windows, moved by a mechanism invisible to the viewer. The grid, kept in various shades of gray and white, sets clear accents with the intensive orange-red that is also used. On the phone, Ben explained to me when I asked that this color would provide a good contrast to the neighboring house and was used as such. If you look closely, you can see that in the transition area to house no. 19, the elements mix in some places, that there are subtle but well thought-out transitions to the neighboring house. Another way to show togetherness. Ben Mathis has also added a few to ensure that there are not only figures from the MaJo Brothers romping around on the façade. These can be recognized by their more angular shape. Since the construction trailers in front of the house could not/were not allowed to be moved at the time of painting, they were included in the design without further ado. After all, no disturbing foreign bodies should be included in the pictures during the final photo session. But why do you need construction trailers, I first asked myself and then Ben Mathis . At that time these trailers were used as a kind of church. Among other things, contact with the residents should be maintained here. With coffee and sandwiches, the physical well-being was not neglected either. As a visible sign, the Jesus portraits can be found on the front of these trailers. According to rumours, the figurative representation did not really appeal to the clergyman responsible. I haven't been able to research what exactly was wrong with these colorful Jesus pictures for almost 15 years now. Maybe the lamb's look doesn't really look innocent ;-). For me, these trigger a touch of flower power feeling. Unfortunately, I'm still a bit too young for this time to have actively experienced it. But sometimes I regret not being able to experience this feeling live when I was younger. One of the reasons why I am so fascinated by the total work of art on the Kiefernstraße. Porträt/maleporträt/femaleporträt/art/digitalart/artporträt/digitalphotography/dazstudio/samarablue/mywayofart/dreamtime/paintshop/photoshop/closeup NEW: Art Portraits I Human & animal symbiosis zurück At first I just wanted to recreate the picture with the raven that I came across in various versions on the internet. Then I found the photographer, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, and discovered that he had depicted one and the same real woman in ever-changing combinations with different animals and post-processing. An idea that made me curious to what extent these kinds of photos could be realised with DAZ Studio. I recreated a second picture based on his model and then let my own imagination run wild. Under the theme ‘Man & animal - a symbiosis in nature’, I let various female characters find their animal counterpart, the animal complement to their human soul. Connected in heart and soul, each lending an eye to the other in order to view the world from different perspectives, to be able to complement each other and to be helpful to each other. A symbiosis between humans and animals ... In contrast to the source of inspiration, I used different characters so that I could adapt them with suitable animals according to my ideas. I also went my own way in terms of perspective, overall depiction and post-processing, framing the images more tightly and making the figures more detailed. It was a time-consuming endeavour, but not every creature turned out the way I wanted, and the positioning of humans and animals was sometimes adventurous. After the postwork with Paintshop, the images seemed too sterile and boring, so I worked my way through various photo apps to find the right look for each pair. I didn't post-process any of the images with AI. Even though some of the filters used were designed as elaborate templates, I deliberately set each of these filters in exactly the shape, colour and intensity you see now. Nothing was left to chance. As I would also like to sell some of these pictures as high-quality art prints with the art print publisher PRINTLER, I also focussed on the quality of the pictures, which unfortunately always suffers somewhat with extreme post-processing. So I'm all the more pleased that some of the pictures have already passed this hurdle and are available at PRINTLER. It remains to be seen which other images will fulfil these requirements. I will upload some suggestions for decorating the images authorised by PRINTLER here. Have fun browsing ... In this gallery you will also find the simply edited images on this topic. Artist info (...) Infos Fabio Annotation: For me, this picture was not easy to photograph. That's why the photos don't have a really good quality. I apologize for that. But because I was very fascinated by this work of art, I tried different sections and perspectives. I gave the title of the picture myself because I had no other information. As I was working on this, the questions below ran through my head. Fabio Fedele was kind enough to answer them. Thanks a lot for this. My question to Fabio why he portrayed the old man with wings t: "The wings are symbolism to make the character transcendent. Angels belong to a religious or New Age context, the wings on humans belong to a secular or pagan symbolic context. The old man has wings because he's not human , but the embodiment of the idea of time. And we know that time flies." My first thought was that the blue color symbolizes water: "Blue is a melancholic color, it does not represent water but the sky." The old man is holding an old stone with a picture of a fish skeleton: "The fossil represents an imaginary tropical fish. It doesn't represent the decay of nature. It represents the decay of human expectations, human presumption, but also our simple life, our honest feelings. Everything that is important to us becomes shortly after our death disappear. It is a reflection on the vanity of our existence. Nature will go on undisturbed even after our extinction." My question about the possible reference to current natural disasters: "I'm aware that meteorological disasters and bereavement are a significant concern at this time, but I didn't take them into account in this work. I admit you can see it there, which would make it even more welcome, but that's what I had to do unfortunately not thought of in the design phase." Artist and picture information Fabio Maria Fedele Fabio: "The building will be destroyed and with it our paintings. The old man represents time and is holding a fossil. The fossil represents what we will leave behind in our future. Like the building and the works, our life will be destroyed, and what remains of it, of our feelings, of our actions, will be small and unexpected to us." Thank you, Fabio, for explaining your picture for Krefeld. Source: Pabio Fedele personally * * * Fabio Maria Fedele studied architecture as well as the history and preservation of architectural cultural assets. In 1993 he started street painting as a Madonnari artist and since 2006 3D street painting has also been part of his repertoire. He has won numerous prizes at international street painting festivals and has painted in Italy, Croatia, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United Arab Emirates and the USA. In Italy he was awarded the highest titles for his street paintings: "Maestro Madonnaro" in Grazie di Curtatone and "Magister Madomnaris" in Nocera Superiore. In addition to street painting, he also works as an illustrator for archaeological museums. His art is based on drawings that depict his flow of thoughts, which he likes to improvise. The location of the painting is an important source of inspiration for his mostly figurative paintings, in which he also likes to play with geometric shapes and decorations as compositional elements. For him, decorations are an expression of his constantly changing imagination and elevate his art to a pure, sensual and aesthetic concept. He likes to build contradictions into his artworks, which symbolize the boundlessness of the art of self-manifestation. “Images are very important to me because they serve as a means of communication and can transport many messages at the same time. I think it's the artist's job not only to create beautiful, communicative images, but also to teach the public how to look at art properly. Figurative art is a language. Understanding them helps us better understand the world and appreciate the things we see. In my eyes, art is based on natural aesthetics, which is why the artist has to study and observe for a long time in order to know the laws of nature. Being an artist is a serious business that cannot be mastered on the fly. For me, art is not a hobby, but a science that finds its best teachers in nature itself and in one's own sensory perception." Artist information (...) Artist information Vanessa and Lydia Hitzfeld Infos Hitzfeld Annotation : An oversized octopus, or rather, one7-armed sibticus by Vanessa and Lydia Hitzfeld seems to wriggle out of the dilapidated silk weaver's house and enclose the whole building with his arms. Does he want to crush it, destroy it, as the "city fathers" decided to do in the near future? This creature with its intense pink/purple tones, which extends over all 5 floors that are set back, does not really appear threatening. Rather, it seems to invite people. Inviting you to the center of the house, where art meets people. Or rather, would hit if we let ourselves go. For me, this means young and old people, Krefeld and visitors and also those who I perceive as "people from Theaterplatz". That doesn't mean that I have to approve of what's happening there. It means that I/we/you don't look away, but perceive. That also belongs to Krefeld. During what felt like 1001 photo tours to the Seidenweberhaus, I got into conversation with many different people. Among other things, many older people were very interested in the various works of art and a short conversation about them. By the way, I got the tip for the best place to take photos from a "scene person" ;-). This particular point of view is necessary to the thananamorphic painting to be able to perceive the designed picture as a whole. In order to be able to accomplish this mammoth project, the artists had to "guide" each other, ie the person painting was told over the radio where exactly the lines had to be. The two artists received support from some colleagues who had already completed their own works. An impressive achievement that the artists spontaneously put together and completed! You can find out how the kitty made it into the picture in the series of pictures :-). * * * Vanessa Hitzfeld studied fine art and restoration at the art academy in Lage/Westphalia, began training as a glass painter in Derrik's glass painting workshop in Kevelaer and studied fine art at the art academy in Düsseldorf, specializing in painting. There she was a student of Jörg Immendorf. After his death she was a student of Markus Lüpertz and later a master student of Thal Rosenzweig. At the Düsseldorf Art Academy, she developed her own style of painting in oil and mixed media on canvas. She took part in group and individual exhibitions in museums and galleries in, for example, Koblenz, Moers, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. She also took part with her art in several auctions of paintings by selected artists in the K20 as part of the "Night of the Museums" in Düsseldorf. During her studies in Düsseldorf she became a self-employed street artist. Her street painting has accompanied her since childhood and has no recognizable connection to her work on canvas. While Vanessa as a young girl painted more classic street paintings with pastel chalk, today she has specialized in the creation of 3D street art on floors and walls as an independent entrepreneur. She also designs scenery, exhibition stands, facades, interiors and gives workshops. You can find her work at many international festivals, in shopping centers or amusement parks. She has won numerous awards and prizes in national and international competitions and has also made an entry in the Guinness Book of Records with an XXL 3D street painting in teamwork with Gregor Wosik and Lydia Hitzfeld, among others. Since 2020 she has been working on a new project with an artist friend. "Photography meets painting". Her photographs of body painting work have been published in Vouge Portugal, People Huts and Allure Korea. Source: official information ofcity Krefeld created by Freddart Streetpainitng Lydia Hitzfeld began street painting in 2004. She learned this form of art as an autodidact. In the meantime, the freelance artist is in demand overseas and in Europe as a street painter and, in addition to classic street painting, is also active in advertising and illusionistic 3D painting. In 2012, together with Gregor Wosik and Vanessa Hitzfeld, among others, she created the world's largest three-dimensional street painting with "Noah's Ark". A few years later she was part of the team that set another world record for the largest 3D street painting on the floor in the USA. In addition to many successful participations in competitions in Germany, she also took part in the oldest, traditional street festival "Incontro national dei madonnari" in Grazie/Italy, where she received several awards. She loves to create the pictures on the street, while doing so to feel how delicate skin can be, how heavy a wrinkle, how hard a light, how an eye comes alive. To see how a three-dimensional canyon develops under your own hands and people stop in front of the pictures and are amazed and unbelievable enjoy it or become part of the picture. Street painting has become an integral part of her life and it is impossible to imagine life without it. When she reaches for paint, she steps out of everyday life into the fascinating world of art and takes the viewer into another Dimension. Streetart I Graffit I Streetartist I Seidenweberhaus I Silk City Gallery 2021 I Krefeld I 3DStreetart I Madonari Art I Love Street art - Cuboliquido/Italy "My heart is all yours " return Anfang Honigwabe youtube Facebook * Homepage* Instagram Artistic interplay or the joy of the little things in life.(...) Artist information Cuboliquido Cuboliquido tells that since the 16th century, Italian street painters have been roaming the country to attract people's attention with expressive, sacred pictures in front of the churches. Since the materials used, such as chalk and pastel, were very perishable due to the weather, it has only been possible to preserve these images for posterity since the invention of photography. It's easier for the cheerful robot at the entrance to the silk weaver's house. For the time being, its preservation is assured, even if it patiently bears the rubbish of "forgetful" contemporaries. Anamorphic street painting has also been finding its way into Italy for about 20 years. This 3D chalk art, now also known as 3D street painting, greatly enhances street painting, producing extremely realistic moments. The viewer is automatically drawn into a lifelike scene, most impressively when paying attention to the specific point from which the image must be viewed. For his (Heart)ly robot, cuboliquido combined his passion for robots with 3D painting. He is often inspired by everyday objects that he perceives in his environment. They can then playfully combine the everyday with/to urban art. Here in Krefeld, two old, demolished mailboxes were the starting point for a funny robot. Source: cuboliquido.com, Wikipedia, freddart.de * * * Cuboliquido was born in Milan in 1974. He has lived from his art since 1992 and in 1994 he discovered his passion for street art. First as a graffiti artist and later as a traditional Madonnari artist (street painting of traditional Madonna images and religious motifs with pastel chalk). Today, two of his Madonnari artworks are on display in a basilica in Bethlehem and in Mexico City. Since 2009 he has particularly focused on anamorphic 3D street painting and has participated in many international street art festivals, where he has won numerous awards.
